Founded in 1907, the Georgia Alpha chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon is one of the oldest SigEp chapters in the nation. We live our lives by the ideals of having a sound mind and a sound body through a system called the Balanced Man Program. In this program, SigEps are encouraged to develop themselves into better men through campus involvement, academic success, and physical activity.
Academics & Career Development
Our brothers are actively involved in a broad range of campus leadership roles including the Student Government Association, the Interfraternity Council, Yellow Jacket Space Program, and a variety of different cultural clubs. Academically, our brothers consistently have one of the highest fraternity GPA’s on campus and are active in undergraduate research as well as internships and co-ops at some of the biggest Fortune 500 companies in the world including Amazon, Google, Tesla, and Microsoft.
Social Calendar
In addition, we have an active social calendar each semester that includes weekend trips, mixers with sororities, and brotherhood bonding events. Our most popular events are our Fall Beach Weekend trip and our Spring Formal, which has been held in great locations such as New Orleans, Nashville, and Savannah.
Athletics
Athletically, SigEp fields a number of teams in every intramural sport on campus. In addition, some of our brothers are Varsity Athletes or participate in club sports such as soccer, lacrosse, and baseball. Through the Balanced Man Program, our brothers make huge personal strides throughout their college career that eventually lead to them being better men in all aspects of life.
